God looked at the universe and decided it needed you in it.

Have faith. Tomorrow can look different.

One of the biggest reasons I stayed in a relationship I didn’t want to stay in was because I didn’t think help was out there. It is! If you’re in the Metro-Richmond area, check out these organizations. If you don’t hear back from them, tell me. I’ll get you connected.

Into The Neighborhood

I’ve had Marti and Louis over for dinner. They are great, and they are loving people where they’re at. They’re so non-judgemental it’s not even funny.

RVA Light

Are you near downtown Richmond and just want a safe place to hang out, maybe get some prayer? My friend Dustin at this coffee shop is all about it. People in all kinds of recovery love getting a $1 bagel and coffee here.

Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor in Richmond provides the support that survivors of sexual and domestic violence and human trafficking need to overcome their crisis and to transform their lives.

REAL LIFE Community Center

I have friends connected to this organization. They’re the real deal. They have housing for women who want to start over.

Beauty for Ashes

If you are a mom with children and need a place to stay, this organization has homes in Fredericksburg not too far away.

YWCA

The Y is especially helpful for women who have experienced domestic violence.

Goochland Cares

I do not know this organization personally, but they appear to have many resources for getting on your feet!

Hanover Safe Place

I do not know this organization personally, but they appear to have many resources for getting on your feet!

Our identity comes from what God has done, not what we have done.

“God if you’re real…” was how my first prayer started.
