How can I be saved? How can I have a relationship with Jesus?
God’s Righteousness Through FAITH
Romans 3:21-26
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God, through FAITH in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified FREELY by His GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through FAITH, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has FAITH in Jesus.
Romans 4:5
5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his FAITH is accounted for righteousness…
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Salvation is something that can never be earned. The bible is so clear that it is a free gift, and you receive it having FAITH in Jesus Christ. God’s grace is totally accessible to anyone who desires freedom from sin, unrighteousness, and a true relationship with God. There is only one thing we must do after we believe on Christ to be saved. Repent. We can never expect God’s grace to be abused as we continue to live willingly in sin, and disobedience to God’s word. I’m not talking about struggling with sin, that is different. The Lord will give us the power over sin we struggle with if we surrender it to Him. He knows our hearts, He knows what we truly want more than we do. He’s the one who created us.
Acts 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Proverbs 28:13
He that covers his sins shall not prosper:
but whoever confesses and FORSAKES them shall have mercy.
Mathew 9:13
But go and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
If you have faith in Jesus, and you repent from your old lifestyle and sin, He will wash you clean. He will give you a new start. He will cancel your record of debt. You will become a brand-new person with a fresh beginning. You can be saved by FAITH in Christ. ANYONE who calls on the name of the Lord WILL be saved. Believe. Repent. Trust.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
John 3:16
6 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:13
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Luke 5:32
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
